What’s more capitalist building a ballroom so the rich can luxuriate while making backroom deals? I can only hope there are swing voters out there that are disheartened by the destruction of the East Wing as I am. I can only imagine, despite assurances of architectural consistency, what sort of monstrosity will emerge once it is finished.
