He may have gotten more votes but I believe the vote count was rigged with the help of Musk. So yes, he could have gained votes but they may have been votes that were flipped. I do believe that decades from now and after he's dead, people who knew are going to start coming out with the truth. It took decades before everything about Nixon came out.
