Even Rachel, whom I love and dearly respect and admire, was unable to bring herself to describe Musk's salute to a fascist audience as a "Roman" salute and not a "Nazi" salute which is certainly what Musk intended.

The media has been -- still is -- too cautious in calling out the fascist pigs as fascist pigs. I know it is necessary to tone it down or lose credibility with the public. But the media has toned it down so low it is not at all audible. We all know, I hope, that what Trump and his band of traitors is doing is nothing less than a fascist destruction of the democratic process.

But "they" didn't know." They" still refuse to know.

"They" being the 77,000,000 bloody assholes who voted for the fascists in 2024. The 77,000,000 who went to the polls and said that, by golly, what this country needs is a little time out from democracy -- because democracy means voting for a woman, and not just any woman, a Black woman. And not just any Black woman, but a Black woman married to a Jew. While Trump, they convinced their mindless heads, Trump will restore democracy by taking it away from "some" people. And he's going to make us all rich folks who are white and speak engelish (sic) like Americans.
