5. I worked in an ER as a young man...

...so much stuff I've seen I wish I could forget. The lowest orderly, helping with muscle, patient intake, vital signs, cleaning and a lot more cleaning -- stuff not done as much at hospital these days.

One thing that's always stuck with me are the people who caused accidents moaned and groaned about how they wish they hadn't done what they did -- oh, they would never do what they did; if only they could, they would undo the past.

Understand the sentiment.

Those who hurt others on purpose never stuck around. They ran or tried to run from their criminality. Cops got all that I remember.
