It was IN THE "DEAL" proposed by Dems. Extend the subsidies for one year so you're not pulling the rug out from under TENS OF MILLIONS OF AMERICANS, then form a BIPARTISAN COMMITTEE to discuss the LONG TERM.
Republicans want the government re-opened WITH THE CUTS INTACT, confident in the knowledge that they will NEVER DISCUSS THE ACA AGAIN, for ANY reason.
