27. In 2036 she would have 8 years in the US Senate and still be only 47yo, in 2040 she would have 12 years and be 51yo.

That would be ideal for a POTUS run IMHO, when the country is (hopefully) more progressive and more open to a female POTUS.

It is clear that the House leadership (and also a shedload of our giant donors) plus a substantial amount of moderate, centrist and conservative House Dems will try their best to block her from becoming a top 2 or 3 position Dem House leader (especially Speaker) and also prevent her from becoming a Committee Chair when he take back the House.

Look what happened with her simply trying to become the ranking member on Oversight. Pelosi (I was extremely unhappy with her over this) and then also the centrists/conservative Dem House caucuses (the New Democrat Coalition, the Problem Solvers, and the Blue Dogs) put paid to that bid, and to make it especially galling, they bigfooted AOC in favour of a terminally ill 75yo (Gerry Connolly) who was clearly not up to the job and, of course, died a few months after he got the position.

The US Senate is by far the best main route for her to move up IMHO, then, IF she feels like she can win the POTUS nomination (as the mood of the nation and our Party is ready for her) at that point she can go for it.

Obviously a wild card would be the VP slot offered in 2028 (unlikely ATM) or 2032.

Time will tell.

She can demonstrate that with a Senate win. It would be helpful to see her win on the state level, which I think she can themaguffin Nov 8 #32
