3. If Everyone In the USA took their stash of pennies

down to the local Coinstar machine, there would be enough pennies in circulation to last 100 years. I cashed in a 5 gallon water bottle full of them about 15 years ago and put over $250 in my pocket.

I do not carry any change in my pocket. In fact, I almost never pay for anything with cash these days. If someone hands me coins in change, I drop them right in the jar next to the cash register. I do not like coin change in my pocket.
