7. Organized Religion has squandered people's

trust in them long ago. Members of the Catholic Church clergy and the clergy of many other faiths have had too many scandals that show their blatant hypocrisy. While they were preaching that their parishioners, and everyone else were "sinners, they were doing far worse things, than most of us would even consider doing.

I am not hiding I still believe in God, Jesus and the saints, but I will not deny or defend the bad things people do in the name of religion. I also firmly believe religion should not be part of the government, and up to each individual to choose whether they wish to participate in one, and which one. No one should be allowed to try and force their religious beliefs onto someone else.
