They know that a torrent of lies cannot be countered - even in political "debates".

Trump does it naturally. One presumes Johnson has had GQP Media Training like so many other smooth liars in that party.

There are also the things they believe that are not so, so when they talk about those falsehoods, they're not lying per se...
