5. I was a lab tech in a hospital in the Northeast (very blue area)

Wednesday

One night a self inflicted gunshot wounded patient came in, and apparently he was an overweight guy who shot himself in the stomach. Most of the other techs thought this was hilarious and laughed about it most of the night. I think I was the only person who felt sorry for the guy.
