50. Damn Koz, did you just get home?

My husband had a seizure that I think was caused by that same issue. But while in the hospital they focused on his COPD. He was dehydrated when he came in and they pumped him full of fluids. They wouldn't let us leave the hospital without oxygen. So, after holding us hostage for 8 hours they got all that set up. He is a veteran too and the VA will only give you those big ass tanks of O2. So now we have a house full of O2 torpedos. After being home for 2 days we found he didn't need oxygen. But, he tried to smoke again and when he came back into the house he was confused and couldn't answer my questions. I took his blood pressure and it was super low and his heart was racing. But his oxygen was 92. I threatened him with execution if he smoked again. He still tried after that with the same results by lighting up butts. So I got rid of all of those. We have tons of specialists appts coming up. They put him on anti seizure meds that they did the last time this happened in 2022. I did the compression socks and some liquid IV which is like Pedialyte and sunflower seeds. He's not smoking, but he isn't a very happy person right now. But he's not having seizures, so I am relieved. You might want to put rails on your bed or put your mattress on the floor. Good luck with all of this. It helped me see that we are not alone.
