(15,988 posts)87. Both of my daughters who were brought up there but live other places now still love Houston.
One of them lives in the place very unTexan and to what other folks is Texas (Austin) finds people to be rude and not helpful. I always thought this was due to political differences but it is not. Because in the 20 years I lived in Houston, the wonderful diverse culture and the amazing people were always there. And still are.
