7. The PATRIOT ACT is one of my pet peeves

I hated it under Bush, I still hate it. It is an abomination of a law. I liked when we opposed it, I liked when President Obama said he would end it. I was disappointed when he didn't. The bad part is, he alone had the power to end it. Yes, the Congress had voted to reauthorize the act. They sent it to OUR President, and he signed it. He could have stamped the damn thing Veto, and sent it back with a copy of the Bill of Rights with a note scribbled in the margin. "Hey guys, read the 4th, 5th, and 6th Amendments will you?"
