9. You've more faith in the (general) populace

than I have. One would think that anyone with even a modicum of intelligence and a smidgen of integrity would sooner cut off one's own hands than vote for someTHING like Trump, and MAGA's cruel, malignant-minded, hate-filled ideology.

Especially if you're among one of the demographics he clearly DESPISES. Yet here we are.

One would have thought that the ATROCITIES being committed by Trump and his regime would've sparked boisterous protest and outrage, from lawmakers, from the general public, from the media, instead of the normalization of sedate indifference.

The rest of the world is certainly astounded at the realization that we as a nation, are proving to be morally bereft of all those ideals and principles we CLAIM to stand for. Clearly THEY are shocked.

Because the complicity, the cowardice, the culpability, THE CAPITULATION - to that which SHOULD be unacceptable is astounding.
