5. I get why people want to speculate, but it does feel a futile exercise

The diagnosis is irrelevant. Affordability, the ICE detentions, the possible war crimes are all more effective issues. His name calling as maybe gotten worse, but it's baked in to Trump's image and unlikely to change people's mind.
