Republicans have highlighted the importance of state and local races. It's past time the Democratic Party reserved energy and funds for these seats, no longer allowing the Republicans to run away with them and cause ever more mischief, as in Laboratories for Autocracy rather than Democracy.

Beat 'em over the head, everywhere.
