Right now, Mills is in a dead heat with Collins in the polls

The primary isn’t until next June, and the candidate filing deadline isn’t until April, so there is plenty of time for the state Democratic Party to recruit a progressive, non-geriatric, pro-union senate candidate who will support killing the filibuster to expand the court.

Court expansion is required in order to restore democracy and repair the damage from the Trump era. Without neutralizing the MAGA majority on the court, any bill will be blocked by the filibuster or overturned by the Roberts court.


Remember: Republican-lite always loses to a real Republican.
