The takeaway messages were: "we're doing coal!", "I don't want windmills", solar farms are "ugly as hell", and "they cover up half a mountain". For many years now, Trump's had two particularly inscrutable obsessions: destroying the alternative energy economy, and returning the nation to the days of coal-fired power plants.
