3. The long and short of it is why should we respect someone who has no respect for others?

Every day he finds the stupidest excuses to hate one group of people in America or another. Women, minorities, liberals, non-Christians, people of non-European heritage, people with disabilities, the poor, people with facts and knowledge and wisdom, people who try to hold him accountable, etc.

Never mind betraying and insulting our allies and insulting immigrants, who are actually a major part of our historical growth and success as a nation.

His respect for others is minimal, narrowly given, and highly conditional, and completely transactional.

Why should I or anyone else respect that?
