I feel that the perfect title of a book about the past 45+ years would be: WHILE THE NATION SLEPT

During the past 45+ years:
"They" were all walking down the Jungle path, swatting mosquitoes, and were oblivious to the herd of charging elephants...
(pun intended)

AND still are, for that matter..............
