Preemptive disclaimer: I/DUer am not the creator of the video below and its title, and there are Comments sections at YouTube and the podcasts if there are meta type quibbles a la "misleading" and such. More at my personal level, I use "Ms" for Equal Rights women, and "Miss/Mrs" for wingnut Fundamentalist ones. Miss WEISS is Chris LICHT redux - tool of The Power, not speaking truth to it.
WEISS is repeating the Chris LICHT fracas at CNN (confusing "freedom of speech with the political right" see quote below) - is holding "town halls" first with Mrs Erika KIRK who has nothing unknown or thought provoking to say and next with a static panel of talking heads with an outdated Top-Down authoritarian format seen everywhere on cable forever. The "now" is interactive, equality of the audience with the pretend pundits, and not subservient to official networks, cherrypicking topics and outlets. WEISS is taking the "new" out of the news, besides the worst part of collaborating with the Power, meaning not speaking truth to it.

First, the alleged "town hall" was a stunt, obviously only to showcase MAGA slant - Wiki defining such meetings as "for local and national politicians to meet with their constituents." The whole KIRK operation conducts its own talkfests for its adherents and apparently without any back-and-forth on issues, only foregone conclusions from above. However, the stunt featured an actual opportunity for being newsworhy, staging Hunter KOZAK, the last questioner of KIRK before the murder (surprising that the wingnuts have not latched onto the "Hunter" part), and he asked Mrs KIRK whether she would also hold Dear Leader responsible for the national climate of polarization, division, and hateful discourse. But Miss WEISS's stunt went *poof* because, not only did Mrs KIRK evade the core item about Dear Leader, but Miss WEISS spectacularly flunked basic journalism by not pressing her with a follow-up question to elict a pertinent, newsworthy answer, which also exposed her false claims about aiming for rounded coverage. Real media critics have raised another facet of the "town hall" stunt, that if she was going to do it, her supposed true role as "editor" and boss called for assigning the many, available CBS staff of professional on-air talent to conduct it, not insert herself. She is as "un-accredited" at CBS as her "university" is.
