(16,157 posts)123. When I was finally diagnosed with my Cancer.
I know it sound strange, but it was a sigh of relief. I finally knew what I was up against and was able to plan my course of action. Not to say it was easy. I was in and out of the hospital for weeks at a time, as my body adjusted to chemo, cancer and infections. It allowed me to get in the frame of mind to say not today, Satan, not today.
You will learn words you never knew existed. You'll even say a few you do know. LOL
Let yourself feel the anger and the grace. You will not meet a more caring and compassionate group of Nurses and Dr's. To me they are special to care for people going through Cancer.
Don't forget to watch cat videos. Lots and lots of cat videos.
