The oil drilled out of our soil is not “our oil“ not unless things have changed a great deal. Certainly Venezuela’s oil is not ours. They will never forgive nationalizing any oil companies. That’s why they still won’t have relations with Cuba and why we blew up Saddam Hussein. Trump sees that they have a whole bunch of oil and as far as he’s concerned, oil is power so he wants it. He is so stupid and simplistic. this is why we wanted to go to alternative energy so we wouldn’t be held hostage by oil men
