"*I am not very adept at the technical aspects of working under a microscope to inject mosquito eggs with nanoliter level volumes of chemicals."

That does sound tricky! Nanoliters! 😄
You can tell me a little more now. You can tell me eventually how your serotonin-less mosquitoes act.
It sounds interesting to see the (potential) changes in behavior, as was seen in mice. Ohh boy... more aggressive, bullying, but somewhat dumber mice.
🤔
Now I'd be interested in why they became dumber, as well!
(Hey, maybe u-know-who is deficient in serotonin? Alright, he's not so dumb, but incredibly ignorant in so many ways. And, of course, we know he's a bully!)

I quickly read about how the female stores the sperm, but needs blood to produce eggs.
I only got a few bites per year, while my poor sister was a semi-magnet for them.

Looked on the map to see where PS/IS 132 is.
I went to JHS 143. I'm sure I met kids from 132.
PS/IS 187 is where I went to vote!

I can give a pretty good tour of the Cloisters.

The Cloisters is an interesting structure. Like the interior courtyard. Not the biggest fan of Medieval Art.
I don't know if you knew of the Medieval Festival but that was a cool event to go to!

I loved to walk through the main gardens, then go sit under the tree grove in the Ft Tryon proper. So beautiful, and relaxing!
