That’s the sad truth. I never understood why EV tax credits were considered progressive. It was basically corporate welfare.

The people that largely benefited from them are those in the top 10%. And guess what? It didn’t help one bit electorally.

SpaceX was due to government incompetence. The US had no choice because ULA was such a ripoff and there were no other alternatives (other than Russia which for any national security related contract was an obvious no go).
