So, after reading an old agreement that some radicals put together, I stumbled upon one part, that got me to do some deep thinking.

"Article XI. Canada acceding to this confederation, and joining in the measures of the united states, shall be admitted into, and entitled to all the advantages of this union: but no other colony shall be admitted into the same, unless such admission be agreed to by nine states."

So, theatrically, according to this, Congress has to accept, if Canada agrees at any time? Did at any time after the Arricles, upto the Constitution, did we retract this???

Why, I ask.... the Articles established our Nation, just imagine they accept and boom, how many new representatives would be democratic???.

Gnaw on that thought a wee bit....
