He cares about obeisance.

He does not care about people's anything.

He demands that people worship him and as long as he thinks they do, he is fine. You can tell him the truth all you want, but as long as he holds to his delusion that he is the greatest thing since sliced bread, nothing we say or do will really bother him... other than his fragile ego, which (like any toddler) can be placated easily.

Until he (and a few others) is dragged through the streets in rags and chains, he will never accept anything other than the delusions that he demands.

And, until that happens, I will not believe in American Justice.
