8. Hasty Generalization

A hasty generalization is a logical fallacy where someone draws a broad conclusion about a whole group or situation based on a small, insufficient, or unrepresentative sample, essentially "jumping to conclusions" without enough evidence, often leading to stereotypes or flawed reasoning. It's faulty reasoning that applies a general rule from a few instances (like one bad experience) to all cases (e.g., "All cats are mean" after one scratched you).
