7. My best friend drops her kids off at school in Oakland

It could have been her. She is a Citizen, so are her children. Her husband is a Citizen too. He is from El Salvador, and she is Filipino. They have two beautiful BROWN children. It could have been her.

This is part of why I had an Ugly Cry. Watching this wrenched my gut to the point I almost got sick and puke.

this is wrong, it is wrong, it is NOT AMERICA.

We have got to stop this. Yesterday.

Even though I'm old and it is cold outside, I think it is time to March. General Strike. This can't just be washed away with new headlines.

I think I'm going to cry again.
