4. I read the new guidelines

9-pages. Quick read. Pages 7 and 8 are specifically about women. Page 9 is vegetarians and vegans.

Most disappointing is there is no mention of diet soda -- the most damaging food that is widely consumed. Metabolic syndrome, osteoporosis, weight gain, heart disease, stroke, dementia, etc. Very easy to eliminate: swap to tea. People who think of diet sodas as the better choice need to be told the truth.
