From the very beginning, it has bothered me that so many people speaking about this keep referring to Renees son as an orphan. Amidst all of the tragedy of this, there is one shining fact: he clearly has somebody left who loves him deeply. I sincerely hope that Becca legally adopted him. There was a statement early on from Renees former father-in-law, something about how he was coming to get his grandson. That caused me concern. Becca doesnt need further loss in her life. That would just compound the tragedy.
