Its not that hard. Find a guy you identify with. Vote for them. Some community organizer type. a local dude. Get him into the state senate, then US Senate. Then find some gal you know and run them for dog catcher. Then run them for state mayor. Then US congress.

The reason people don't vote is because they are apathetic, they think everything will always stay the same, generally ok'ish, no matter what, and looking into things takes actual effort. But their apathy is mistaken. Anyone with eyes can look around their community and see that that things are not all ok.

There are plenty of people that are easy enough to identify with. You just gotta participate in the primaries to see them, because they get swept out by the slicker pol's with the party backing and money. Because all these "working people" don't bother to participate.
