44. "What does over mean?"

Over in that we’re now subject to the tyranny of the Imperial Presidency and unitary executive dogma; subject to the tyranny of presidents who are above the law subject to neither Congress nor the courts at liberty to violate the law with impunity – including murdering US citizens.

And all of this the consequence of the apathy and indifference of the American people – the majority of whom either support the fascist Trump regime or shrug off Trump’s crimes and abuse of power because they believe there’s nothing they can do about it.

The ultimate blame belongs to the Founding Generation and their unwarranted fear of the people; the fear that the people with direct access to the levers of governance posed a threat to the powerful elite, denying the people the means by which to remove tyrants like Trump from power.
