(53,661 posts)65. Okay, that was misreported then, and I'll stop repeating it. There was a news story about it on
November 7th or so, as things were settling out, but they said that OR, CA and TX had gained Democratic supermajorities. The language was there, but it was an misinterpretation, then. As you say though, it's a step in the right direction. If you have the actual numbers, please let me know and I'll edit a post or two.

Texas was an exception in that the Republicans took the House majority in 2002.
