8. Immigration Theater

There once were some raids in blue towns,
Where dissent was the crime that abounds.
They cried “border collapse!”
While they staged a loud lapse
In the cities where Trump wasn’t crowned.

In precincts that voted “not him,”
ICE swaggered with posture quite grim.
If crisis were real,
They’d go where it’s steel—
Not places that simply vote “lib.”

They thundered of chaos and fear,
Yet skipped where the profits are clear.
No knock on Iowa doors,
At the plants and the floors—
Just cameras in cities, not here.

If migrants were truly the flaw,
Why dodge every workplace with law?
The Tyson-line proof
Puts the claim on the roof:
It’s vengeance, not justice, we saw.

So chant it again and again,
Till the talking point buckles and bends:
No crisis to find,
Just a grudge dressed as kind—
Retribution parading as “ends.”

Call it theater, muscle, or spite,
But the pattern’s in plain, glaring sight:
Where ballots went blue,
The sirens ensue—
And that tells you who’s wrong, not who’s right.
