As a state, Greenland would get TWO U.S. SENATORS and ONE REPRESENTATIVE.

Given the fact that Greenland does not want to be a state, the population would be unhappy with the party that dragged them into the Union -- the Republican Party -- thus resulting in TWO MORE DEMOCRATIC SENATORS AND ONE MORE DEMOCRATIC REPRESENTATIVE.
