26. I have been 85% blind in my left eye since 10 years old...

... this is tragic, especially the taunting. He will go through life being accused of "looking at things and people" he is not looking at. And people doing double takes trying to figure out what he is looking at. The nose is a great obstacle ... My optic nerve was severed (hanging by a thread) from severe head blow in the car accident that took the lives of my best friend, his aunt and his uncle who were brother/sister. We were on our way to a Huron (SD) football game.

That and the eye strain and pain in the left eye. I get sharp pains in my left eye for no reason. Eye doctors tell me, "that is your eye trying to heal itself".

And the loss of 3 dimensionial sight. Things tend to look FLAT, but you get used to it. Depth perception will be a problem, too.
