6. I wouldn't disbelieve it offhand.

There were rumors about people in Bush 41's circle who were into child sex trafficking, especially boys, in the mid to late 80's as a way of controlling right wing assets. While there were always stories about intelligence services or Mafia concerns setting out honey pots for blackmail purposes since the Civil War era, there has always been some truth behind those rumors.

I remember there was that one propaganda BS former young staffer/"independent investigative reporter" that would pop up during Iraq II, (Rumsfeld's Bugaloo) to prop up the administration and shit on Democrats. He disappeared after some actual journalists started looking into stories the guy was a former escort model in the DC circuit who was supposedly trafficked as a teen.

And it's always easy to get the hypocrites that wrap themselves up in moral or righteous trappings to justify their greed and general narcissistic sociopathy.

People who get off on enforcing power imbalances are always attracted to positions where the hey can indulge in those imbalances - why so many domestic abusers and bullies are attracted to jobs with the law or politics - where they can psychologically or physically hurt "lesser" people and get away with it.

Wouldn't surprise me if offered a kid to dominate any way they feel like doing so, they wouldn't think twice.
