When the nation refused to rally behind the George Herbert Walker Bush rationale for war on Iraq — “It’s not the oil, it’s WMDs” (the first time)!, the money trumps peace swells trotted out a “young Kuwaiti OB nurse,” who testified to Congress that she saw Saddam Hussein’s troops enter her hospital in Kuwait City and empty the incubators full of babies onto “the cold, hard floor” and then roll the incubators out the door and up the road to Baghdad, swear to Goodness. It was all a lie, as she, in reality, was the Kuwaiti Ambassador to Washington’s 15-year old daughter. Didn’t matter as Congress authorized war to restore the Kuwaiti royal family.

Of course… Poppy and Capitalism’s Invisible Army lied Saddam into making war in the first place.
