and secret service is required to at least speak to those for whom the post either approached a grey zone of threats (which it clearly appears this one did not) and/or they receive large numbers of reports that it did.

This has been policy for SS for many years and we all saw it with the GWBush* administration and errant comments about Cheney/Rumsfeld and others.

Yes, I share your anger, disdain, and paranoia about this administration, but thus far SS has not apparently aligned itself with the tactics of ICE, BP, or others. Now, this woman has every right to be furious at those who reported her and did ask (if you listened to the end) about how to address threats SHE received online, which he did address/advise.
