We're letting Trump, who is best pals with Putin, build a number of new secure areas below the White House. How secure is that actually going to be? Once it's built, future presidents will use these areas; they can hardly demolish the whole thing again to find out whether he had surveillance equipment installed.

Given Trump's history of absconding with classified documents, and his known desire to appease foreign dictators like Putin, is anyone going to feel particularly safe using these new areas that he is building inside the White House?
