Before you side with the US, ask the Hmong, the Kurds, the Afghans, just what they got out of that.

We're well along in teaching Ukraine the same lesson.

We're going to have a hard time recruiting allies, especially local allies in trouble spots. Any wars the US starts will be fought by US forces, and the body bags will be returning to "The Homeland".
