A piece of chicken, a piece of broccoli, a tortilla [View all]

I went this am and did my grocery p/u at Walmart. Very nice young black lady brought my stuff. As we concluded, I faced her and said well, I got my piece of chicken, piece of broccoli, tortilla... she was blank (thinking... crazy old white lady) I told her THIS is what the Sec of Ag thinks we should eat... she did shake her head as if, wow? I said, they are insane. But I could tell, she was not up on the terrors of this admin. Most working people (as I was for decades, and as I did) don't pay attention to politics, who is making our rules. I recall one of the few times in my younger life, I voted, was when David Duke was running against Edwin Edwards for Gov of Louisiana. Gawd damn, even I went out, stood in line. It was vote for the crook or the klan. Thank gawd, we voted for the crook (Edwards).... record turnout... even in Louisiana. This is what we're up against.
