Air Force One's fleet is the most extensively maintained in the world. Problems are vanishingly rare, because everything is tested on the ground and in the air multiple times before flight.

But suppose Trump had a medical emergency. Anything from a psychotic break where he began howling like a monkey and throwing feces to another stroke. Cover story? The plane broke. Like when he disappeared for weeks last August-September, then reappeared with backhand bruises and a sagging face that no healthy human could even imitate, unless they've had a stroke. Accounts for the up-all-night junk, too, because the biological click is a real area of the brain.

Maybe it was Trump the blew a gasket, not the 747.
