and living life to the fullest in our younger years.

Other countries give far more time off for lunch, vacation, etc.

They believe in their citizens having good healthcare and are willing to contribute in taxes to that end for the betterment of their fellow countrymen.

And Businesses are content with say 8-10% profits vs. 20%+ profits. The people running businesses here have a hernia if they lose a few pennies per unit in their weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports.
