...as complete and total proof that the stock market isn't really setting records, but they see a cold snap during a string of years in which the record for hot days is consistently broken as complete and total proof that global warming doesn't exist.

Yet, if we said, "Record Drop in the Stock market today. Rarely seen anything like it before. Could the Genius Wall Street Traders please explain — WHATEVER HAPPENED TO THE RECORD STOCK MARKET???", we would be roundly mocked.

But that is exactly what is happening here.....
