When I lived there, I saw a dozen or so people with "OBAMA WILL NOT TAKE MY GUNS" signs.

And, Obama didn't take their guns, although I'd say the two events were unrelated.

And when I lived there, there WAS a sort of "underground" of liberals / Democrats who stuck together. It was deep red, to be sure, with a few rays of blue sunlight.
