(12,915 posts)5. An interesting plan. It would prove the NG is there to protect the public.
However, it would require exceptional courage on the part of the Guardsmen. They would certainly be hit with tear gas, pepper bombs, etc. They could be assaulted by the ICE/CBP thugs.
I have no reason to believe that more concern would be shown for NG soldiers than has been shown for civilians.
