Of course your post is 100% on point, and probably the corruption of the electoral system is the most important news in a country which wants to be a democracy. I absolutely see this as a poop or get off the pot issue for the 5% of Republican politicians who might stand up to Trump and the 5% of Democratic politicians who want to "work with Republicans to bring the country together", and more to the point, any of our oligarchs who care about keeping any real semblance of democracy in the US.
