it has been since the last dose of whatever bug juice the are giving him to keep him minimally functional.

Playing stupid is his fall back position any time he is presented with something that is uncomfortable for him.

I don't think his attention span is such that he could possibly produce a long text. The sample text is far too comprehensible to have been penned by Trumps.
